Intermediate Photography Course

This is our most advanced course at this time. It is for people who see photography as their main interest or hobby and who would like to get a better understanding of the thought processes involved with being a better photographer. A 6 week course concentrating on

gaining a better understanding involved in serious image-making. This critical approach will help students to develop their work to a higher level of accomplishment. We will aim to extend our students' awareness of photography and push them a little harder than in our other

courses.

You will have already completed our Understanding Your DSLR course and would like to

understand more of the visual rather than technical processes through which you can improve your photography and tune your eye. Intermediate Photography is for those who consider themselves serious about their interest in photography.

There will be a requirement to undertake assignments between classes and an encouragement to further personal study. The

course involves the student in making photographs, rather than being structured solely around technical, lectured-based teaching. The work produced will be the basis for discussion and evaluation by the class, leading each student to a better understanding of how to create

interesting, beautiful images that have meaning and impact.

Please note that this course is only for those who fully understand how to use their cameras,

there will be no camera operation tuition
