Understanding Lightroom Course
This course is based on Lightroom CC, however much of what is taught applies to earlier Lightroom versions so no matter which version you have this course would work for you.
If you take your photography seriously Lightroom is an essential processing tool. Organise and process images direct from RAW, Lightroom will enable you to get the most from your images
and significantly improve your work flow and image organisation. We teach this course much as we do our Photoshop course, by demonstrating and then giving students time to practise
before moving on to the next subject area. In the years we have taught Photoshop we have found this the best way by far to get people up to speed with these complicated bits of
software.
Lightroom is not an alternative to Photoshop although it does seem to cover similar ground on
one level but it is the first step in image organisation, RAW processing and adjustment. Most people who use Lightroom also use Photoshop to handle the things Lightroom cannot do. It will
broken down into 4 sections: importing, library, key words, tags, meta data, backing up - adjustments - book slide show print and web - exporting, presets
We teach this course at our own studio and students are required to have their own laptop with Lightroom installed. Numbers are limited because of the space we have.
